Vietnam, UAE to expand trade to 10 billion USD

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are determined to work to raise bilateral trade to 10 billion USD from 6.3 billion USD in 2017.

The target was discussed during a working visit to the UAE by Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung. During his trip which concluded Tuesday, Mr. Dung met with Minister of State Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Jaber and had a working session with Minister of Energy and Industry Suhail Mohammed Faraj Al Mazrouei. The two sides discussed measures to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, renewable energy, and infrastructure.

Deputy Prime Minister Dung said UAE is one of Vietnam’s important trade and investment partners and that the two countries will continue to expand their cooperation.
