(VOVworld) – Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General To Lam and Director of the US Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency Major General Michael Linnington agreed to enhance cooperation in searching for servicemen missing in action.

At a meeting in Hanoi on Monday, they said Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and American agencies have had some success in locating and repatriating the remains of American servicemen.
Linnington said he appreciates the humanitarian policies and goodwill of Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and wants to increase cooperation on this issue.
