Vietnam values further Comprehensive Partnership with UAE
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam values further Comprehensive Partnership with the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son said in Saturday reception in Hanoi for Minister of Investment of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohamed Alsuwaidi, who is in charge of promoting cooperation with Vietnam.

The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that the UAE continue to jointly implement projects in high technology, artificial intelligence, data centers, and digital transformation. He called on the two countries to quickly complete the approval and effective implementation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), aiming to increase bilateral turnover to 20 billion USD as agreed by the two countries' senior leaders.
Minister Mohamed Alsuwaidi emphasized that the UAE attaches great importance to what was achieved during Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's official visit to the UAE last October. On behalf of the UAE Government, the Minister applauded Deputy Prime Minister Son’s upcoming working visit and attendance at the 2025 World Government Summit in the UAE. He said he believes that the two sides will continue to exchange and agree on major cooperation contents and deliver on the commitments of their senior leaders.
Both agreed to concretize other cooperation projects such as the UAE investing in building a youth football academy for the Hanoi Police Club and growing rice in Vietnam for export, ensuring food security for the UAE.
