In recent days, many northern and central localities of Vietnam have suffered severe damage caused by natural disasters and floods.

To express solidarity and sympathy with the Vietnamese government and people over the loss of lives and property, many countries and international organizations have sent messages of condolences and provided financial assistance, rescue equipment, and essential supplies to the affected people.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang told a regular press conference on Thursday: “These are precious resources and timely support from the international community to help localities across Vietnam overcome losses and hardships and soon stabilize their lives. The Vietnamese government and people deeply appreciate this valuable assistance and solidarity to join hands with Vietnam to overcome challenges and return to normal life as soon as possible.”
