Vietnam views NVIDIA as leading partner in semiconductor, AI
(VOVWORLD) - The establishment of NVIDIA’s AI research and development and AI data centers in Vietnam marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between the country and the US tech giant in R&D, technology transfer, and high-quality human resources, Party General Secretary To Lam told President and CEO of NVIDIA Jensen Huang in Hanoi on Friday.

The move will also help Vietnam fully tap AI potential to shape the future of technology and realize development goals in the new era, he said.
Vietnam considers NVIDIA a leading strategic partner in semiconductor and AI, Party leader Lam said, expressing his hope that the firm will continue supporting Vietnam’s AI ecosystem and enhancing the country's technological self-reliance.
He pledged the best conditions for effective collaboration between NVIDIA and Vietnam so as to ultimately turn the country into a regional and global hub for semiconductors, AI, and innovation.
Huang highlighted Vietnam’s competitive advantages, particularly its human resources quality and potential to develop and adopt new technologies.
NVIDIA stands ready to work with Vietnam in infrastructure development, education-training and support for AI startups while accompanying the country towards development goals, he added.
