Vietnam wants to spur bilateral trade and economic cooperation with Mozambique

(VOVworld) – A high-level government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai arrived in Muputo on Wednesday, beginning a three-day visit to Mozambique.

The Vietnamese delegation laid a wreath at the statue of Hero Samora Machel, the first Mozambican President after Mozambique gained independence and freedom. Addressing a meeting with the Vietnamese Embassy in Mozambique, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai called on the embassy’s staff and the Vietnamese community to do all they can to spur bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
Mr. Hai said that during the international integration process, Vietnam should focus on domestic economic development and expand economic cooperation and trade exchange. To that end, Vietnamese diplomatic missions should fulfill tasks assigned by the Party and State to boost national economic development.
