(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan applauded the Vietnam War Veterans’ Association as an important member organization, who helps the Front carry out oversight activities.

At a meeting with the Association in Hanoi on Thursday, Mr. Nhan said he hopes the Association will continue to report the people’s detection of corrupt acts and protect detectors. He added the Vietnam War Veteran Association plays an important role in people-to people diplomacy and the close bonding between Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
