(VOVworld) – On Thursday Dien Bien province honored 60 outstanding young ethnic people and religious followers at a ceremony to mark the 60^th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Federation.

The 60 people actively took part in the “I love my Fatherland” movement, which included humanitarian activities, start-ups, new rural development, and activities to mitigate natural disasters and reduce poverty.

The same day, Bac Ninh province’s Youth Federation and Young Entrepreneurs Association marked the Federation’s birthday and the 12th Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day with a number of activities promoting the province’s socio-economic development.

Yen Bai province’s Youth Federation and several pagodas in Ho Chi Minh City delivered 3,000 gifts to policy beneficiaries and poor ethnic households in the area.
