Vietnamese Ambassador meets with US International Development Finance Corporation

(VOVWORLD) - The US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) considers Vietnam a preferred partner in US cooperative projects, CEO Adam Boehler told Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Ha Kim Ngoc at a meeting Tuesday in Washington D.C.

Boehler said the DFC is supporting investment projects in developing countries, particularly in energy, infrastructure, and digital economy.

He said the DFC is interested in supporting development projects in the Greater Mekong Sub-region and projects producing strategic products in the US supply chain.

Ambassador Ngoc praised the DFC’s role and said he hopes the two sides will soon deploy concrete cooperation projects in the region.

On the occasion, Mr. Ngoc presented 500 made-in-Vietnam face masks as gifts to the DFC staff.
