(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung met with the newly appointed ambassadors and chief representatives abroad for the 2015-2018 tenure in Hanoi on Wednesday.

He asked them to boost comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and other countries through state, parliamentary and people-to-people diplomacy. He said that the diplomats should further promote Vietnam’s history, culture, and people to the world and take advantage of international support for national construction and defense.

He also asked them to pay more attention to overseas Vietnamese affairs and communicate Vietnam’s law and policies to attract foreign investment.
