Domestic businesses have initiated a number of tourism models to solve these problems. Nguyen Linh Chi Deputy Director of TranViet travel company, said: “We have focused on some special products such as educational tours for parents and their children. We also set up special tours which allow customers to drive their own cars in other countries.”

As Vietnam is increasingly affected by climate change, businesses are gearing up to develop green tourism for a sustainable green economy. Nguyen Huu Y Yen, General Director of Saigontourist, said: “We are studying European policies of sustainable tourism. We’ll only partner with service providers that meet environment standards.”
