Vietnamese citizens brought home from Europe

(VOVWORLD) - 280 Vietnamese citizens were repatriated from the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, and Czech, on a flight of national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on Thursday and Friday.

The passengers included children under 18, the elderly, pregnant women, the ill, workers with expired labor contracts and students without accommodations and stranded tourists.

Upon landing at Van Don International Airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh, the crew members and passengers were given heath examinations and quarantined.
