Vietnamese enterprises seek cooperation in green transformation, responsible business

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese enterprises said they want to cooperate with foreign partners in green transformation and sustainable and responsible business during Wednesday meeting with heads of the Vietnamese representative missions abroad.

At the meeting organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hanoi, business leaders called on Vietnamese representative offices abroad to provide market information; connect and introduce them to potential partners; support in trade promotion, as well as forecast the economic and social situation in host countries.

VCCI Chairman Pham Tan Cong said, “Starting from this year, VCCI will help localities organize official delegations to Japan, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan (China), and the US. A delegation will comprise of leaders of VCCI, localities, and businesses to make investment promotion trip effective. Before a trip, we will coordinate with partner organizations and embassies of other countries. We hope that VCCI and foreign embassies will work together effectively.”

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Quang Hieu said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ambassadors and heads of the representative missions all want to contribute to the development of the country and businesses.
