With the spirit of “the haves help the have-nots”, the group “Vietnamese Mummy in Aus” has raised funds to help people in need. Nguyễn Bảo Châu, a representative of the group, said: "Some wrote on the Facebook page of group “Vietnamese Mummy in Aus” that they would lose their jobs and have no income to pay for food, school fees for their children, and other things. I think there are a lot of people like them. I’m the admins of the group’s Facebook page so I mobilized Vietnamese people helping each other in the pandemic.”

Vu Trung Thanh has been in Australia for nearly 2 years. The Covid-19 pandemic took away his job. He has been spending time with the Vietnamese Mummy in Aus group to help other disadvantaged people. “I’ve lost my job due to the pandemic. I feel sympathy for others. I have a car and I help transport donations to people in need. I want to play a part in helping Vietnamese people here.”

The group “Vietnamese Mummy in Aus” has raised 10,000 Australian dollars and a lot of food within two weeks. The group has collaborated with the Vietnamese Mummy in Sydney, Gold Coast, and Adelaide to spread the spirit of mutual support in Australia.
