He is remembered for his clear and cohesive explanation of Party guidelines and National Assembly resolutions, according to Nguyen Van Anh, a resident in Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi.
“During his meeting with voters, President Tran Dai Quang was very attentive to people’s opinions and shared his ideas about the policies of the Party and State. So the people placed their trust in National Assembly deputies,” said Anh.
President Quang carefully took notes of voters’ feedback and tried to answer their questions as much as he could, said Pham Thi Huong, who lives in Dan Phuong district, Hanoi.
“President Tran Dai Quang was very open to voters and we could express our opinions to him as a representative of the people. Voters feel regretful about his passing. We feel so empty in the upcoming National Assembly meeting,” Huong elaborated.
