Vietnamese painting auctioned for more than 100,000 USD
(VOVWORLD) -A lacquer painting called “Playing cats” by Nguyen Sang was sold for 101,000 USD at the sixth session of Chon’s Auction House in Hanoi on Sunday.

This is the first painting by a Vietnamese artist to sell at auction for 6 figures. Nguyen Sang is one of the famous quartet of Vietnamese artists, Duong Bich Lien, Nguyen Tu Khiem, Nguyen Sang and Bui Xuan Phai.
