Vietnamese police wants to strengthen cooperation with the EU and US authorities

(VOVworld) - Deputy Minister of Public Security, To Lam, have received the outgoing EU Ambassador and head of the EU delegation to Vietnam and US Assistant Secretary of State who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

General Lam told Ambassador Franz Jessen that the Public Security Ministry will boost cooperation with the EU to ensure human rights, social law and order for mutual benefit. He expected the Ambassador to continue his support to the multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and the EU.

General To Lam meets with US Assistant Secretary of State, Thomas Malinowski

During his meeting with US Assistant Secretary of State, Thomas Malinowski, General Lam praised positive progress in the cooperation between Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and US law enforcement agencies. He wished for more cooperation to foster security in the region. Mr Malinowski expected further development in bilateral comprehensive partnership.
