Vietnamese stranded in Nepal taken to safe place

(VOVWORLD) - A group of 13 Vietnamese tourists on Thursday were stranded at Khang Sang village in central Nepal, about 150 km from Kathmandu, due to torrential rain and landslides. 

The Vietnamese Embassy in India contacted the honorary Vietnamese Consul and the Vietnamese community in Nepal to provide necessary aids for stranded Vietnamese. On Saturday, all 13 tourists were safely taken to Kathmandu. The Vietnamese Foreign Ministry has asked the Vietnamese Embassy in India to stand ready to provide timely aid and to get the tourists home safely.
