(VOVworld) – A forum focusing on how young people can build a career in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) took place in Hanoi on Sunday. Guest speakers shared with young people opportunities and challenges that will exist after the ASEAN Economic Community is formed in 2015. Addressing the event, former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan encouraged young people to excel in foreign languages, pursue their passion, and be creative in whatever they want to do, to be on a par with their peers from around the world: "Every young person should be aware of his or her own strengths and advantages in building their career, and not follow the crowd. Creativity, which remains undeveloped among Vietnamese youth, is very important in career building. There are two ways to start a career. One is to upgrade or improve existing products. The other is to create your own products, which are totally different from what the markets have been offering"
