(VOVworld)-The Vietnam-India relations reach their peak, Vietnamese Ambassador to India Ton Sinh Thanh has told the media on the occasion of the 45^th anniversary of diplomatic ties and the 10^th anniversary of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Mr. Thanh said Vietnam and India have established sound political relations and mutual trust in all bilateral and multilateral issues. The trust has been consolidated though the regular exchange of high-ranking delegations of the Party, State, National Assembly, and government.

During Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Vietnam last September, both sides reached important agreements, including the upgrade of strategic partnership to comprehensive strategic partnership.

Ambassador Thanh said the two countries agreed on increasing the exchange of visits at all levels, enhancing communications on bilateral ties, and working together to organize trade and investment fairs, business forums, and cultural events.
