(VOVworld) - Lao President and Party General Secretary Chummaly Saynhasone says the time-honored relationship with Vietnam has been nurtured and consistently developed over the generations. At yesterday’s meeting with Vietnamese ambassador Ta Minh Chau to mark the end of his mission to Laos, Chummaly Saynhasone praised Ambassador Chau for his great contribution to deepening the two countries’ friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation. The Lao leader said he was delighted with the completion of the book “The History of the Vietnam-Laos, Laos-Vietnam Special Relationship 1930-2007”, calling it a precious asset for younger generations of both countries to further promote the bilateral ties.
