An exhibit featuring Vietnam-Lao special solidarity opens as part of the Vietnam-Lao Special Friendship Festival

In his opening remarks, Hoang Vinh Bao, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications and the Chief Organizer, said that the festival themed “Vietnam-Lao Special Friendship” offers  an opportunity to promote the image of Vietnam and strengthen the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos: “This is the festival of border provinces. It’s also an opportunity to strengthen external relations information in border areas and raise the sense of responsibility for effective border management among relevant agencies, localities, and border people. With various practical activities, the festival promises to enhance unity between people living in border areas.”

At the ceremony, leaders of the Lao Embassy in Vietnam and the Dien Bien Provincial People’s Committee highlighted the development of bilateral ties.
