(VNA)- Vietnam earned 2.3 billion USD from exporting agro-forestry and fishery products this month, bringing total revenues for the past nine months to 20.4 billion USD, 10 percent above last year. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development reported yesterday that most products saw rises in both volume and value, except for rice, rubber and pepper.  China has become Vietnam’s largest rice importer since the beginning of this year. Coffee, tea, and pepper products maintained stable growth in major markets. Wood and wood product exports approached $3.4 billion USD, up 17.2 percent. Aquatic products brought in an estimated $4.5 billion USD and the US remains the top importer of Vietnamese seafood, followed by Japan and the Republic of Korea.
