(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s female volleyball team Sport Center I successfully turned the tide and defeated Thailand Diamond Food Fine Chef-Air Force 3-2 at the 2023 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship on Tuesday in Vinh Phuc Gymnasium.

Vietnam lost the first 2 sets, but won the next 3 to become the tournament’s champion. This is Vietnam’s first regional championship for volleyball.
Vietnam went undefeated in the group stage, and won against China’s Liaoning Donghua at the semi-final.
Vietnam will officially represent Asia to challenge the 2023 World Women’s Club Volleyball Championship in China.
