This was part of the program “Vietnam fresh golden lychees – Taste it, love it” organized by the trade office of Vietnam in the Netherlands and the LTP Import Export BV company.

A  ton of Thanh Ha lychees from Vietnam’s Hai Duong province arrived at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on Thursday to make their way to Asian supermarkets in the Netherlands, France, Germany, and Norway.

Earlier, sample lychees had been sent to all Asian supermarkets in the Netherlands for tasting and won the hearts of their owners.

Orders for Hai Duong and Bac Giang lychees placed by supermarkets in these four countries varied from some hundreds of kilograms to a ton, which will be shipped by air in the next couple of weeks.

Vietnamese lychees have also been shipped to France, Japan, and the Czech Republic.
