The Vietnam Automobiles Manufacturers Association (VAMA) reported that the number of cars sold in April was low. The association’s members only sold roughly 11,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 46%.

Excluding Isuzu cars which increased 2%, other automakers suffered a dramatic drop in sales including Ford 53%, Mazda 49%, Honda 41%, and Toyota Motor Vietnam 29%.
