Vietnam’s industrial production thrives in 2 months of 2022
(VOVWORLD) - The General Statistics Office reports that industrial production in February increased 8.5% over last February. In the first 2 months of this year, the industrial production index increased 5.4% compared to the same period last year.

Sectors that recorded an increase are processing, manufacturing, electric production and distribution, water supply, waste and waste water treatment and management.
Staple industrial products that increased sharply in the reviewed period are aluminum, monosodium glutamate, and processed seafood.
In the past two months, the whole country reported nearly 20.3 thousand newly registered enterprises with a total registered capital of over 12 billion USD.
