Vietnam’s mission to UN holds tribute-paying ceremony for former Party leader Do Muoi
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s permanent mission to the United Nations on Thursday held a ceremony to pay tribute to former Party General Secretary Do Muoi and opened a funeral book.

The mission observed a minute of silence and burned incense in memory of the former Party leader. Ambassador Dang Dinh Quy recalled contributions of the leader during more than 70 years serving the Party and the nation.
Many overseas Vietnamese, foreign ambassadors, representatives of other UN delegations and international organisations in New York, and local officials paid their respects to the former Vietnamese Party chief at the mission’s headquarters.
