Vietnam's National Day celebrated in Kolkata, India

(VOVWORLD) - The India-Vietnam Solidarity Committee in West Bengal has offered flower garlands at the President Ho Chi Minh statue in downtown Kolkata city to celebrate Vietnam’s 75th National Day.

The statue of President Ho Chi Minh is located in ITC Square, on the intersection between Ho Chi Minh Avenue and Jawaharlal Nehru Avenue in Kolkata city.
Local people also joined the committee members to offer incense and flowers at the statue in a hope for a flourishing bilateral tie in the future.
Kolkata has not resumed its normal life following lockdown and social distancing measures to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
