Vietnam’s National Day celebrated in Norway

(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese embassy in Norway celebrated Vietnam’s 69th National Day this week. Ambassador Le Thi Tuyet Mai highlighted the significance of September 2, 1945 when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, opening a new era of independence, freedom and happiness for the people of Vietnam.

She said that over the past 69 years, the Vietnamese people have obtained many important achievements and have become a responsible and reliable partner in the world community. She also reviewed major milestones in Vietnam-Norway relations since the establishment of diplomatic ties on November 25, 1971. The ambassador said she hoped trade and investment cooperation will continue to prosper in the coming years.
