Rolf Mützenich, Member of the German Bundestag for the Social Democratic Party (SPD) , said he is glad that Vietnam, an important ASEAN nation and the host of APEC Year 2017, was invited to conferences and meetings within the G20 framework.

He added Asian countries’ point of view is significant to world development, resolution of international conflicts, and win-win cooperation between Asia and Europe.

Rodion Ebbighausen, a reporter of Germany's Deutsche Welle, said Vietnam plays an essential role in ASEAN and the G20 Summit, adding that Vietnam has more opportunities to enhance relations with G20 members.
