(VOVworld) – All the Vietnamese students competing in the Asian Physics Olympiad (AphO 2013) won prizes, including 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 1 bronze medal, and 3 certificates.

The Ministry of Education and Training on Monday held a ceremony to welcome them at the Noi Bai international airport, where Deputy Minister Nguyen Vinh Hien said their achievements at AphO 2013 reflect the right direction in balancing theory and practice in schools: " The prizes are a result of the students’ own efforts, school courses to nurture their excellent students, and training courses launched by the Ministry of Education and Training. Their achievements bring the hope of further remarkable results in future international competitions. I want schools and examinations to better students’ ability in conducting experiments".

The Ministry and sponsors presented awards and certificates to the team during their homecoming.
