William Colglazier, Science and Technology Adviser to the US Secretary of State

(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Embassy and the US Vietnam Education Foundation have co-hosted a forum on science and technology initiative – cooperative opportunities between Vietnam and the US.  The forum opened in Washington on Friday, attracting more than 70 participants. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Cuong stressed the importance of science and technology in human life, saying that Vietnam and the US envisage great potential for cooperation in this area. Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan presented Vietnam’s science and technology development strategy until 2020. William Colglazier, Science and Technology Adviser to the Secretary of State, and several US scholars pointed out cooperative opportunities between the two countries, expressing the US's willingness to share experience and assist Vietnam in this area.
