Vietnam’s three Bangladesh repatriates free from Covid-19

(VOVWORLD) - Three Covid-19 patients recovered in Hanoi on Monday, bringing Vietnam’s tally down to 24 active cases.

They are continuing their quarantine at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases and will take several more tests in the next 14 days. 

The three men were repatriated from Bangladesh on July 3. Upon their arrival at Van Don International Airport, they were sent to quarantine in Thanh Hoa province.

Vietnam has recorded 384 Covid-19 cases to date, of which 360 have recovered. Community transmission has been kept at bay for over three months and no deaths have been reported.
