According to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the U22 team will take part on Monday in a training camp at the Football Training Centre of the Promotion Fund for Vietnamese Football Talent (PVF) in the northern province of Hung Yen.  

Guus Hiddink, the current coach of the Chinese national team, was Vietnamese head coach Park Hang-seo’s mentor over a decade ago. Both men worked together during the Republic of Korea’s successful 2002 World Cup campaign.

The match is part of Vietnam U22 squad’s preparations for the 30^th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) to be held in the Philippines in late November.
