(VOVWORLD) - A voice to text software application with accuracy of up to 93.6% was among the top winners announced at the Vietnamese Talent Awards 2019 ceremony in Hanoi on Friday.

The speech to text software, named Origin-STT and developed by Vietnam Artificial Intelligence System (VAIS), won top prize in the IT category for its capability to recognize different Vietnamese accents and about 7,000 Vietnamese words.
Organizers also honored excellent products in the Environment Awards, Medicine Awards, and Science and Technology Awards.
Pham Huy Hoan, Editor-in-Chief of the Dan Tri (Intellectual) Online Newspaper, said: “Entries of the IT category have caught up with world’s latest technology trends. The Vietnamese Talent Awards, the 15th edition of its kind this year, has promoted the creativity of Vietnamese people and helped their innovations really come into life.”
This year, 418 IT products were sent to the Vietnamese Talent Awards, 30% more than in last year’s Awards.
