VOV, Indian Embassy boost information exchange

(VOVWORLD) - The relationship between Vietnam and India cultivated by senior leaders and people of the two countries is thriving, which is a solid foundation for promoting their ever-growing Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, said VOV President Do Tien Sy.

Mr. Sy on Wednesday received Mr. Shri Pranay Verma, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam at the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) head office in Hanoi.

The VOV top leader applauded the cooperation between VOV and the Embassy of India in Vietnam, especially in supporting the VOV Bureau in New Delhi. He expected that the Embassy and the Ambassador personally continue to support strengthening communication cooperation between the two countries as Vietnam and India will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations on January 7, 2022 and five years of their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in September 2022.

For his part, Ambassador Verma spoke highly of Vietnam's support for India’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and pledged to do his best to assist Vietnam in defeating the pandemic. He reiterated continued support for VOV in the process of media cooperation and news exchange to keep the public well informed.
