The new office’s mission is to relay Indonesian news to Vietnamese people and vice versa, and explain policies of the Party and State to Vietnamese people living in Indonesia. It will help strengthen the Indonesia-Vietnam strategic partnership.  

A delegation led by VOV President Nguyen The Ky attended the opening ceremony and visited the Vietnamese embassy in Indonesia to discuss preparations for the 60^th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to Indonesia scheduled for later this year.
