(VOVworld) – Billionaire Donald Trump and former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continue to lead the race of Republican and Democratic presidential nominations for the next US President.

A new ABC News-Washington Post poll published on Tuesday found Trump to be the favourite of 33 per cent of registered Republicans and Republican-leaning independents, a jump of 9 per cent points since mid-July.
Among Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents, Clinton is the choice of 42 per cent of registered voters. Senator Bernie Sanders is second with 24 per cent.
