The workshop also highlighted Vietnam’s achievements in all aspects of life, especially in national liberation, reunification, renewal, construction, and development over the past 90 years under the leadership of the Vietnam Communist Party.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, said: "In the early 20th century, Vietnamese people led by patriotic scholars failed in fighting against the colonialist’ cruel domination and oppression partly due to a lack of proper leadership and an advanced class to lead the revolution. In that very context, Nguyen Ai Quoc, Ho Chi Minh, found a proper way of leading the revolution for Vietnam based on national patriotism and Marxism and Leninism. He then step by step prepared and founded the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3rd, 1930."
