World Cup qualifier: Vietnam beat Indonesia, moving up to 2nd place in Group G
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam thrashed Indonesia 3-1 in their World Cup 2022 qualifier in Bali on Tuesday.

Vietnam’s goals were scored by Do Duy Manh in the 26th minute, Que Ngoc Hai in the 54th minute and Nguyen Tien Linh in the 62nd minute. The away win put Vietnam in 2nd place in group G with 7 points after Thailand, which defeated the UAE 2-1 the same day.
It was Vietnam's second victory at the competition, after a 1-0 victory against Malaysia last Thursday.
Vietnam will play the UAE in their next World Cup qualifier in Hanoi on November 14.
