Dong Thap Court’s ruling on divorce case involving Chew Kai Ban, Le Thi Tuyet Quyen

(VOVWORLD) - The Dong Thap provincial People’s Court informs Singaporean citizen Chew Kai Ban, born in 1966, about the ruling on the divorce case with Mrs. Le Thi Tuyet Quyen.

Mr. Chew Kai Ban’s most recently known address is APT BLK 229 Pending Road # 12 – 211, Singapore. (Passport: S/PINK S1779170B)

In the Decree of Divorce (No. 44/2017/HNGD-ST) dated September 07, 2017, the court’s judgements were stated as followed:

I.                   Marital relationship:

1.     The court accepted Le Thi Tuyet Quyen’s request to divorce Chew Kai Ban.

2.     The court accepted Le Thi Tuyet Quyen’s request to be the custodian of their children, Chew Choong Kain, born on January 20, 2008, and Chew Rong Yuan, born on October 06, 2009. Both are currently living with her.

3.     Chew Kai Ban is not required to provide financial support for their children.

4.     Le Thi Tuyet Quyen and her family are not allowed to prevent Chew Kai Ban from visiting, educating, and taking caring of their child.

II.                Court fee and litigation costs:

1.     Le Thi Tuyet Quyen is required to pay the first instance legal fee. The payments were deducted from the court fee advance she made on May 23, 2016 at the Dong Thap provincial Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement (Receipt No. 032489)

2.     Chew Kai Ban is not required to pay the first instance legal fee.

3.     Le Thi Tuyet Quyen is required to pay the authorization fee. The payments were deducted from the court fee advance she made on June 20, 2016 at the Dong Thap provincial Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement (Receipt No. 0029747 dated December 22, 2016)

III.             Right to appeal:

Le Thi Tuyet Quyen has the right to file an appeal against the Court’s ruling within 15 days after the decree is announced. The duration for Chew Kai Ban to file an appeal against the Court’s ruling is 12 months after the decree is announced.

The Decree of Divorce will come into force if the above-mentioned duration expires without Chew Kai Ban’s appeal.
