Park Hang-seo, Tien Linh to visit China after World Cup qualifier match
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam head coach Park Hang-seo and forward Tien Linh will join Vietnam U22 in China after Thursday’s match against Thailand.
Park currently coaches both the national squad and the U22 team.
Vietnam U22 a now in China for an exhibition game with against China U22 coached by Guus Hiddlink in preparation for the SEA Games in the Philippines at the end of the year.
Park was Hiddlink’s assistant at the World Cup 2002. The two will face each other as head coaches for the first time.
The Vietnam U22 squad includes Hoang Duc, Duc Chinh, Viet Hung, and Tan Sinh.
Park’s U22 team aims to win this year's SEA Games, advance to the AFC U23 championship next year, and secure a berth to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
