HCMC works to operate metro projects on time
(VOVWORLD) - Secretary of the HCMC’s Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan said the city will offer the best possible conditions for the on time operation of its metro lines.

He told a working session with the HCMC’s Urban Railway Management Board on Wednesday: “The metro line No.1 opens a period of between 10 to 15 years to develop the urban railway system. Agencies have to listen to public opinions to resolve obstacles to put the 1st metro line into operation, paving the way for building other lines in the future.”
The metro line No.1 stretches nearly 20km and has 14 stations. 80% of the construction is scheduled to complete this year.
