Head of the External Relations Culture Department and UNESCO Affairs of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau said the program was aimed at foreign diplomatic delegations in Vietnam: “This is the first time the Foreign Ministry has organized this event and it has received support from foreign diplomats. Foreign delegations play an important role in realizing achievements in Vietnam’s foreign affairs. They are the representatives of Vietnam’s friends in Hanoi. By giving them opportunities to learn more about Vietnam and enhance relations with other Foreign Ministries and other sectors, they will better fulfill their jobs and so can help to nurture Vietnam’s foreign policy”.

Mozambique Ambassador to Vietnam Gamiliel Munguambe said:“It’s very helpful. I have been here for the last three years but there are elements as I said before that you need to put them in a right perspective. And putting it into the right perspective is to taking to the national entities and the right people. And the right people you cannot get them on the street but in events like this. Here you start with the diplomats but I hope you will also include the families of those diplomats because they also want to understand Vietnam”
