She was speaking at a ceremony on Friday at Hanoi’s Thang Long Industrial Park to launch an emulation campaign to mark International Labour Day on May 1st and the 90th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union. "We’ll organize more art and music performances and entertainment activities for workers to ease their stress after tense working hours so that they might be able to refresh themselves. We hope the activities planned for the Month of Workers 2019 will help unite workers and improve their trust in the Vietnam Trade Union," said Ms. Tuyen.

After the launching ceremony, the Hanoi Confederation of Labour organized medical check-ups and provided free medicine for 600 workers at industrial parks in Hanoi.
