Vietnam receives 3.7 million foreign visitors, earns 8 billion USD in four months
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism on Saturday said 984,000 foreigners visited Vietnam in April, the highest number since the beginning of this year and up 9.9% against the previous month.

The number of domestic tourists reached 10.5 million people. Over the past four months, Vietnam received nearly 3.7 million foreign visitors and served 38 million local visitors, earning 8.4 billion USD in revenue.
The Republic of Korea continues to be Vietnam's largest tourism market with 1 million arrivals over the past 4 months, followed by the US with 263,000 tourists. China rose to third place with 252,000 tourists. 88.7% of the passengers arrived in Vietnam by air.
Diverse activities were held in April ahead of a long holiday from April 29 to May 3 and the summer tourist season. They included the 2023 Vietnam International Travel Mart 2023, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival, the 2023 Vietnam Culture and Culinary Festival in Quang Tri, and the 2023 Hue Traditional Craft Festival.
