This is a key traffic project, expected to play a vital role in socio-economic development while strengthening security and defense in the Southwest region.
The project, invested by the provincial Department of Construction, has a total investment of more than 171 million USD and will be implemented over 1,080 days.
Designed to urban bridge standards, the six-lane bridge will span a total length of 3,500 meters. It includes a 1,440-meter overpass across the Cai Lon and Cai Be rivers, a 156-meter overpass across a river branch, connecting roads, and supporting infrastructure such as drainage systems, artistic lighting, sea-view landscapes, and intersections to ensure traffic safety.
Built with steel and prestressed reinforced concrete, the bridge is designed for a speed of 60 kilometers per hour and meets the highest technical standards under relevant regulations.
