In 2022, units have implemented effective border guard measures, proactively forecast the situation, promptly detected and handled incidents occurring on seas and islands, maintaining the territorial sovereignty and security of the sea and islands.

The units have also implemented coordination programs, consolidating the political base, developing the economy, culture-society in the sea and island border areas.

In the coming time, they will focus on implementing a number of key tasks such as: firmly managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and maritime security, advising and closely coordinating with forces to effectively handle activities that violate sovereignty at sea.
