(VOVWORLD) - The national postage stamp exhibition (Vietstampex) with stamps featuring Vietnam's sea and islands on display has attracted a large number of visitors.

500 stamp frames from senior stamp collectors nationwide feature Vietnam, its culture, and people as well as glorious history in land, seas, and islands protection. Hoang Anh Thi is Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Stamp Association and Tran Huu Hue and a stamp collector from An Giang:
“It’ a good idea to introduce Vietnam to international friends through stamps. We suggest releasing stamps with a full print of the map of Vietnam affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos, which is a channel to introduce and affirm Vietnam’s territory.”
